Now it is on Cricket and cricket players! Though there were few threats and concerns about playing in Pakistan, no one really expected this, cause people in the sub-continent not just like, but worship the game and its players. They could have never imagined such an attack on cricket players.

Srilankans were ready when Indians opted to stay away from playing in Pakistan on a scheduled tour. The SriLankans might have thought that India and Pakistan always have bitter rivarly, so the reason to opt out. But they were sure that they would be safe because they never had any rivalry with Pakistan, so they decided to play in a place the rest of the world is avoiding! But the big question is, who would do that? Who wants to kill the cricketers?? What will they achieve by killing cricketers???

Pakistan is a hub for terrorists, so why would they (terrorists) want to make their position vulnerable by attacking cricket players in a place considered safe by them? Moreover, these terrorists are not against Pakistan and the Pakistan Govt, so one can rule out the possibility of terrorist groups such as Al-Qaeda, Hijbul Mujahideen or any other militant outfit attacking cricket players.

 Who else then??

 The ISI, Pakistani intelligence service, are the masterminds behind all such attacks against India and Indians. They do such things when they want to create havoc and chaos in their rival counties, India being number one in their hit-list! They and their country won’t get any strategic advantage by attacking a visiting cricket team in their own homeland, especially when the whole world is openly avoiding playing there. So one can rule out this option also!

 Who could be the next…..Was it a political game?? It could be a game between the former Pakistani President Nawaz Sharif, who was ruled out from participating in elections and current president Mr Asif Ali Zardari or any other political party. They might get little and immediate advantage by doing such things to target the ruling government. But if one goes by this possibility, one can  easily point out that any political leader or party will not get a real advantage among the people of the country or in the world at large. So this option can also be ruled out.

Then who ever can it be…………???

If we see the incident carefully, one can easily make out that the attack was planned to scare the cricketers and people but not to actually kill the cricketers. Twelve terrostis armed with Ak47s, rocket launchers and a bus full of players in front of them. Can’t they just blow up the bus and players travelling in it if they really wanted to?? Ofcourse they can! But they didn’t do that. They just wanted to terrorise and injure the Players! However, they killed the five policemen who were having arms and ammunition with them and could have fought back…Sounds ironical, right??!! But they spared the cricketers’ lives. Thank God for that!! They also made sure not to forget to leave few Kalashnikov rifles and a rocket launcher as souvenirs, before they safely disappeared to remind us that they could have killed if they really wanted to!!

They (whoever planned it) clearly want to pass a message to the world out there that life in Pakistan is getting worser day by day and the place is no longer safe. Bomb blasts and terrorist attacks are now a daily feature in this religiously-extremist country. They were waiting for a high profile attack, to attract the world’s attention. They finally got the right oppurtunity to execute their plan when neighboring SriLanka accepted to play in Pakistan and professionally executed the plan successfully!!!

Who are THEY???

Is it pakistan army!!!??? Why do they do this? The history of Pakistan says that there always has been a fight between the democratically elected Govt and the army for Power….. The power to rule the country. Execution of lives of the leaders of the country through coupes has happened over the period of time to gain this power. Pakistan govt has always been overly depended on the army to fight against India; unfortunately it was not a straight and open fight, but a cowardly, cold-blooded religious game!! Over the period of time, the army got hold of democracy and decided to rule the country themselves.

Now in the present disturbed scenario, the Pakistan Army, ISI, Militant outfits and democracy(!!!) are fighting amongst themselves to grab the power legally or illegally. In such a process, as per the speculation going around, it was the Pakistan army, who targeted SriLankan cricketers, by which means to dilute the power of democracy in Pakistan and among the world at large… and one fine day, to do one more coupe against the elected govt and grab the power!!!

Let’s wait watch how this game will unfold now!!!!???????

Srceen play……….I think,  is the real beauty which made the film an awesome piece.  Simon Beaufoy deserves an oscar for making it possible.

Danny Boyle…..Superb direction. He not only took best out of the the best actors and technicians, but he took the best out of those small kids which made the slum look cute at Oscars. Great work Danny, you deserve it.

Andddddddd, yes,  it is AR Rahman and Resul Pookutty who made us feel proud and happy. I am really happy for them. You guys did it. We are proud of you guys.

Jai Ho Rahman. You made it possible at the biggest event of the entertainment world. He could have bagged more oscars if he would have been nominated for all those wonderful songs he composed. You deserve it and you’ll bag more Oscars and more Golden Globe’s in coming years also. You inspired and showed us a way to how to make it big. I think the Indian cinema has good future and will become the leader in world entertainment.

A hearty congratulations to AR Rahman for winning 2 oscars for best song “Jai Ho” in ”Best Original Song” category  and another one for “Best Back Ground Score”  and Resul Pookutty for winning an Academy award  in “Best Sound Mixing” category. We are proud of you guys. U made us feel proud. Keep going.

8 Oscars at the 81st Academy award ceremony in the categories ‘Best Film’, ‘Best Director’, ‘Best Adapted Screenplay’, ‘Best Original Song’, ‘Best Background Score’, ‘Best Sound Mixing’, ‘Best Cinematography’ and ’Best Film Editing’. Great achievement by the entire “Slumdog Millionaire” team.

Jai Ho……Rahman and Resul.

I had collected few gifts from my friends – like   teddy bears, photo frames, gift articles, a beautiful watch etc. and I wanted to give them to some mentally challenged kids. I spoke to the PRO and the staff of sweekar upkaar about my idea of giving those gifts to the inmates of that institute on the 31st Dec. They readily accepted and they even planned  few fun games for the children. The idea seemed very good and I asked them to plan for atleast 10 programs, so that we could give away all the gifts that I collected.

I shared this idea with my teammates at office and they were more than happy to join me. So, Rhoda Wiliams, Deepthi Gulla, Sridinesh Kolluru and Arvind Shivaramakrishnan and I went to sweekar upkar at around 1:00 PM on 31st Dec. We took goodie-packets which consited of  biscuits, chocolates and wafers made for 200 odd kids as suggested by the staff. My whole team was very excited to see the reaction of the kids there. Mrs Sunitha, the principal of the school took us to a large hall with a stage at one end. Children applauded loudly with joy when they saw us. I realised for the first time that Sweekar upkaar is not only providing education but health care also to all age groups but not only to the kids. It was a group of  100 odd inmates which consists all age groups, the dedicated teachers of this institution and parents of those kids.

Teachers selected 5 kids(boys n girls) in each group to participate in different type of  fun games as per understanding level of the kids. the kids were participated with so much excitement in all the games. They were cheering for each other. We had organized few events like  ‘eating banana’, ‘throwing a ball into a basket’, “memory game’,’ ithreading a needle’, ‘sticking bindis on the faces’ etc.  The program lasted for approx 2 hrs.

A special mention to the one of the inmates Mr Gouri Shankar…he came up with a really surprising package. He has impressed the whole audience with his art of tabla playing. I am really thrilled to say that he was playing varities of  beats on tabla. The way he was playing tabla inspite of having such a health condition is really very good. We all were so thrilled.

When the event was going on in full swing, I realized and noticed one thing which actually made me re-think about myself. I was always thinking about the kids, but I never gave any thought towards the staff of that institute. When the event was going on, the kids were participating with so much enthusiam. May be the events we organised were very easy for the normal kids, but it wasn’t for those kids. I could not communicate with those kids. At this point I realised how great those teachers could be. They were treating those kids with so much care and affection. The way the teachers were encouraging and cheering for the kids was really awesome to look at. I was really moved by their effort. One can imagine how difficult it could be to teach even small things to those kids, where as so many parents think that teaching their own kids as a big task.

If I think I did a great job by doing such thing on “one day” , then how great those teachers and staff can be who are actually educating, taking care of those kids, providing the health care and trying their best to build the confidence in themselves to live their day to day life happily. I salute the great institute and staff for doing such a great job.

At the end we distributed the gifts to the 2 winners for each event. The kids were so happy and thrilled. Program ended by distributing the goodie packets to all the inmates. Deepthi and Rhoda were little disappointed cause they could give only 2 combo packets to each kid.
The event was a big hit… All the children  went home happily wearing a broad smile on their faces. The principal Mrs. Sunita, then took us to the office room and explained us about the whole working of their organization, what they do and how they do it, while we were having tea offered by her.

At the end we all were very happy. All of us went back home with satisfied and a sweet memory to last our lifetime! We can never forget the way they applauded and welcomed us when we entered the hall, and the way they were trying to shake hands with all of us while they were leaving after the event.

Me and my team would like to thank  Mr Murthy, Mrs Sunitha  and all the staff who made this possible. Thanks a lot to the Sweekar Upkaar.

And a special thanks to my dear friends who encouraged me by giving  away such valuable gifts and my teammates Rhoda Williams, Deepthi Gulla(Ratnam), Sridinesh kolluru and Arvaind Shivaramakrishnan who made this possible.

Did we do the right thing by shooting the attackers??? Is it the right solution?? Did we eliminate the  root cause of the problem!!??? Can we assure that these kind of things won’t happen again?? Where are we living?? Under the TALIBAN rule!!??

No, No way….We just overreacted without even trying to find out the actual root cause of the problem. Whose fault was it?? Who are the
defaulters?? is it the guys, girls, their parents, or police??

India has always been known for it’s great culture, values, human relations, traditions and family system.

Today, the world has indeed become small… we can reach anywhere, any time. There is an exchange of culture is happening among different cultures. It is always appreciable if it is the ‘good’ that we share and adapt out of any culture. Unfortunately it is always that we get attracted to and catch the ‘bad’ very fast.

Infact, no system is ‘bad’. Every system evaluates with good values.It is we, the people, who err and hence defame the system. People very often say that “we are getting attracted to the western culture and are forgetting values and beliefs in our own system”…

I don’t think it’s true.

Instead, the unfortunate truth is that we are getting attracted and emulating the bad part of other cultures, while those people belonging to other cultures are admiring and adapting the ‘good’ part of our culture!!

Today’s generation have so many options to get  information, knowledge, entertainment. We have the TV, books, Movies, Cell phones and Internet. All these things have been invented for a good cause, but these facilities are being misused and manipulated by some people.

Today’s generation is being manipulated and falling a prey to some of these privileged facilities of this century. We should make sure that these systems are being used for the right cause. Who’s responsibility is this? Is it of the individuals, parents’ or the Government’s, Who’ll keep a close watch on this?? Though we make a hundred thousand laws to prevent the misuse of this facilities, people always commit mistakes!

Now coming to the acid attacks that happened recently…

 Boys and girls have been interacting much more than ever before. They have been studying together, working together, which is undoubtedly a right thing. But bad part of it is…. Guys and girls are developing some unacceptable relations out of these opportunities. They do anything and EVERYTHING in the name of friendship!! Unfortunately the term “FRIENDSHIP” is being misused and abused. Parents are also ignoring such things all in the name of being “Broad-minded” and “open”!! Over a period of time these relations are taking a violent mode and things like these acid attacks are happening. So many such incidents are going unnoticed as they are not so fatal. But such things are definitely creating so many problems in their personal lives. There is a huge outcry… we hold debates on popular news channels, stage dharna’s to say the most popular and sympathetic saying “stop violence against woman”. Would this stop such incidents in future.

These incidents occurred not because of any one incident, they have occurred and evaluated out of over a period of time and can’t stopped by killing defauleters like that. As the presinet of Loksatta party Mr Jayaprkash Narayan rightly said we’ll regret later for what we are doing now. We are creating an unacceptable culture rather than providing a solution.

We do not have to point at a ‘boy’ or ‘girl’. Most of the times there will be mistakes from both sides. I have personally seen girls(even
married women) flirting and doing things of all sorts with boys. The most unfortunate thing was that they were doing it with more than one guy at one point of time, which ultimately led to some unexpected and unfortunate incidents. Everyone of those involved have had to suffer because of the resulting incidents. College campuses, hostels and working places are becoming platforms for such things, where the people have full access to do such things. Movies and TV shows are only helping influence their behaviour.

I am not trying to point out girls only here. My point here is that mistakes are happening from both sides. Parents should keep a close
watch on such relations and strictly warn them whenever they feel that their kids are crossing that thin safety line between friendship and such unacceptable relations.

I read a question and answer column in a news paper recently. One guy was asking a question “Is it not the responsibility of parents to ask their children when they spend most of their time on the phone”?.  He asked this question pointing out girls, but I am more surprised at the editor’s answer..He said, “why should we question girls, why should we stop them spending unusual time on cell phones and chatting”. I felt very sad reading that answer, it’s not like that we should not allow them to talk or chat, yes definitely parents should be strict with children(both girls and boys) when they are spending more time on ‘cell phone’ and ‘chatting’. Should not parents ask their kids when they are going out for late night parties!!?? or should return a blind eye to it all in the name of ‘freedom’. These things will surely have adverse consequences on all of us…but it might be too late by then!

I think it is the responsibility of the individuals, parents, police, law and Governments to stop and prevent such incidents to reccur, but that would not mean killing people in fake encounters!

Let’s wake up and try evaluate a utopia, but not a Taliban rule!!

Where are we heading…………….!!!!!!!!!

I feel helpless for not able to do anything agaisnt the Govt od India(not against the terrorists). A meak prime minister, A dummy home minister and total chamchagiri cabinet!!!!!!! where are we heading.

Aren’t they (terrorists) challenging us by these blast every month,everywhere. They went up to enetering into our homes and hotels and killing hundreds of innocent people.

One news channel reports the recent attack on Mumbai as ” A war against India” and “India won the battle”. I felt so sad for the interpretation.

But then Yes, upto some extent it’s true! Ten guys declared a war against more than a biliion people on the center of the India and they managed to kill hundrends of innocent people right in front of our eyes. We were watching the fun for 3 days sitting at our homes. I wonder how come anybody can say that we won the battle.

Did we winat all???!!!

They have been doing it since over a year ….killing innocent citizens…

What is our great Government of India is doing all this while!!!??? Are they sleeping or are they busy in doing some bhajana( sonia ji ki bhajana)!!!!!

What are we waiting for?? Are we waiting for them to come and explode few cities completely or are we waiting for some muhurath to take some action against them!!!

These Pakistanis occupied “Kargil” and we had to fight for more than 2 months to get it back at the cost of so many lives of our brave soldiers.  Did we win Kargil!!!???

They attacked our Parliament, what did we do? nothing!!!… we couldn’t even hang the guy who came to blown the Parliement!!! I think we are waiting for somebody to hijack a plane again and help them flee away!!

This terrorism is gone beyong imagination now. They are enetering into our homes and killing us. Isn’t it scarier than ever before!!! And we say that we won the battle. What big fools we are we!!

I am feeling ashamed about the rulers of India. They elected(!!!) some puppet as president, they made someone who never bothered to take any action against any of these terrorists as Home Minister. I think This guy is minister of Ms sonia gandhi’s home. He knows only bhajana of sonia gandhi.

I  learnt at school that our country is a Democratic country… I wonder what is it we have in our country, is it democary, autocracy, communism or aristocracy, what is it? It definately is NOT democracy!!

Prime Minister is not ruling the country, he cannot take any decission. Home minister, he is only bothered about sonia’s home. President……who is she?? what does she do??

Who is ruling our country? and what are we doing?

Is it not funny to ask someone to handover these terrosrists(dawood ibrahim and party) to us!!! Weren’t they aware when they were planning all these bombings that they can get caught somewhere, are they bothered about it? They are doing it every otherday and we are waiting for our turn to get killed by these guys. When will be able to take some action against this pakistan and these teerorists???

I don’t think we’ll able to take some tough decisions this time also. We are afraid and we do not want to loose these minority votes at any cost. So things will continue like this.

The only thing we can do is……..wait and watch for our turn to get killed in this biggest DEMOCRATIC country.

Can we declare elections right away, so that we can get rid of these dummy and chamcha politicians!!!

If we cannot declare war against pakistan, atleast we should…

Stop all bilateral ties with Pakistan.

No train, no bus to pakistan.

Throw the pakistan embassy out of India.

Play no sport with them(especially cricket).

and occupy POK and destroy all terrorist camps.

If we cannot act tough, they will go on destroying this beautiful world.

and the good part is, now we have the open support of the rest of the world. It is high time that we should take some stern actions against this creatures.

World history accepts revolutions, wars and many freedom fightings, but this terrorism is one thing that can never be justified!

The worst thing about this terrorism is that it is propogated in the garb of RELIGION. Does any religion preach to kill people in the name of God!!! How ever can anybody think that God will appreciate such ghastly acts and give you a red-carpeted welcome to heaven???Terrorism is not about religion…No religion in this world preaches or propogates terrorism. People who truly follow and practice any religion, won’t cause any harm to other people. Some people are just doing this to achieve their own saddistic selfish motives. They are using RELIGION as a mask to play this deadly game!

Terrorism…..doesn’t know humanism, they just kill innocent people for their selfish motive and terrorise the society. If we kill each other for every problem and for every thing, then will anybody be left on this world.People who ever are helping terrorism are not realising the fact that they are killing their own people. Let’s educate them, and hope that a proper education from the root level might change them…

If we observe the pattern of countries where terrorism is prevalent we can conclude that terrorism is deeply rooted in countries where feeling of religion is also firmly rooted. It is very unfortunate that in these countries a fight against terrorism is considered to be a fight against the sentiments and feelings of people in that country. So even if stringent plans are declared to counter attack terrorism, constraints do pop up since terrorists themselves are protected not as individuals but as people belonging to a particular religion or community!

So any fight against terrorism can happen only by clearly demarkating terrorism and religion. This can only be initiated by efforts from the leaders of the political parties and several religious heads to understand that religious interests should be protected by not compromising the nation’s pride and security.And, anyone who turns out to be a threat to a nation’s harmony and peace should be punished irrespective of their religion or community. They should understand that any attack against terrorists irrespective of their religion or country is only a step forward to eradicate terrorism and save humanity.

India – a country that has people from Different religions, different langauges, different climatic conditions living together is the epitome of Harmony. Some nieghbouring creatures do not want  people of India to live in such a great harmony and always try to disrupt this. The easiest way they seem to have achieved this is by provoking some people in the name of religion and using them as weapons to create this havoc. Most unfortunate thing is, our own people are falling a prey to this and making it easy for all the inhumane terrorist activities to happen.

Is it not high time we wake up and try doing something to stop it???Have we woken up yet???
What is the great Government of India doing to stop this terrorism and terrosists? Are we waiting for the rest of world to come protect us? Can we not do it by ourselves??Why is the Govt is not able to stop this havoc which is happening almost every other day?? Is the Governmnet not responsible for the safety of the people, or, are they more concerned about the safety of these terrorists!!???

One more step towards eradicating terrorism comes by suppressing vote bank politics. No politician can encourage himself/herself.It is only the foolishness and ignorance of people which makes him /her perform what we call Vote bank politics. If we are perfect and good enough to understand how to choose our leaders, and know how each politician performs then there exists no scope for such kind of politics.

Terrorists are malign creatures and terrorism is a cancer to the society. We should eradicate it from the root level. We should not show any sypmathy towards them. Start an operation to eliminate this cancer from this society.Otherwise, just like cancer, it will spread and affect the whole system and kill the Person. Stop masking it by the garb of religion. We should not show any sympathy what ever community or religion they belong to. Mercilessly eliminate them from the society!

Bangalore, Hyderabad, Bombay, Jaipur, Ahmadabad, Surat, NewDelhi……..they have already reached so many places. They are killing hundreds of innocent people, they are killing children, woman and elders. Shame!!! U, ur family, friends, neighbours or relatives – any body can be a victim.

I am requesting the Government of India to start a serious operation (like operation BLUE STAR) to eliminate this cancer called terrorism and the cancerous cells called terrorists for a safer India, and a safer world!

Till then…let’s just hope that we reach our homes safely when ever we go out and let our parents and family pray for our safety everytime we are out of home.

The motive and the aim of his entry into the active politics seems very convincing.

Yes, as President of India  ” Bhart Ratna APJ Abdul Kalam” said there is a need of good human beings in the Indian politics who can do something really good for the people of India.

Now politics have gone from bad to Worse! If we see the recent “cash for Vote” or “MP’s on sale” scam happened in the prestigious Indian Parliament when the “no-confidence motion’ was going on against ruling congress government. It clearly shows where Indian politics are heading…!!!

As the need of the hour, the people’s president Dr.APJ Abdul kalam said, Chiranjeevi announced his political entry by launching his own party “Praja Rajyam” and unvelied his political agenda amid huge gathering of approx 7lakh people.

His views about important issues like “Corruption”, “Medical facilities”, “Education”, “Telangana”, “Naxalism”, “Social Justice”, “Equality”, “Inflation”, “Agriculture”, “Irrigation Projects”, Liqour”, “Middle class people and their sorrows”, ”Village Empowerment” look impresive for now.

Now the big thing everyone curious about is how will he implement and what he will do  about all these burning issues. Such issues sound easy to talk at meetings, but when we come to reformation things won’t be as easy as they sound!!!

As we all know that things won’t change all of a sudden. The first thing which needs a change is people’s mind set. If we change ourself, things will improve and ultimately society will change.

Chiranjeevi has got the “larger than life” image and a huge fan following across the state. I wish he improves the total system by changing the people’s mindset.

His party agenda looks impressive as of now, as he said it was his view only. He said that his party will discuss and take decisions once it is formed, on all the key issues.

The Do’s of his agenda are largely dependent on Dont’s.

He should not encourage and enter into CASTE and RELIGION based politics for the sake of the votes as most of the political parties are doing now. He should go by issues only.

He should not let corrupt people join his party. He has larger than life image to attact the voters to cast their votes for him. These nuts are not going to help earn any votes for his party. Infact, they will be benefited by his image. So he should be careful while choosing people for his party.

We wouldn’t mind if Chiranjeevi doesn’t become the CM and gets just about 40 or 50 seats in the assembly, but he should never ever fall a prey to these wrong practices. Beacuse we are here to CHANGE…change for the better!!

1000 fools can’t make a change happen, but One powerful person can make a CHANGE and help create a better society!

Choose the right people even if they are just a handful. Numbers dont really matter now… Going forward people will realise and will follow your footsteps towards a better developed India!

 I sincerely welcome Padmabhushan Chiranjeevi into the active politics to do some thing worthwhile for the people and our country.

I wish him well and hope He is the cornerstone for CHANGE. We will be with you as long as you fullfill your promises and strive for the welfare of people

I did my schooling from a Govt School which is located in a small village in Andhra Pradesh, South India. My school, like most other schools there, has children who cannot even afford to buy books and stationery! Wearing proper uniforms to school is like a far-fetched dream for them!

So many bright students in our country are not able to continue their further studies owing to the poor economic conditions. Hence so much talent is going unharnessed and not utilized in especially the villages in our country. If they only could afford to get a little more education, am sure we’d have scores of Abdul Kalams and Narayana Murthys!!

Now that I am working, I thought of doing some thing to help and encourage students from my school in the village.

As a small gesture, I gave away a cash prize of Rs.1000/- and a momento each for two top rankers of class 10 for the 2007 batch of students, on the occassion of Independence Day. I know it is not a big thing, but that surely helped encourage the students in more than one way.. Like

~ Creating a sportive spirit among the students to study hard and get the top rank
~ Help them buy books(atleast) for the next class
~ Develop a confidence in the students

When I spoke to the teachers of the school, they really liked the idea and asked me to extend this scheme to all classes if I could with a small amount (Rs.100/- or 200/-).I announced the same to all the students and am looking forward to see whether it creates any impact on the students by the next Independence Day, when we would be distribute the prizes in front of all the students and their parents.

Am sure you must all be wondering why I am beginning my blog with such an article..The reason is…when I shared this idea with one of my friends- Chandra Reddy, he was really impressed and want to implement something similar in his village school immediately.

When we both can do this, we thought, if we only shared this idea with others, then all such like-minded people can do this through a kind of forum, thus extending this help on a wider scale!

We all know…”Little drops of water make an ocean”. So, if anyone of you like this idea, please join us, so that we all together can create a bigger impact by extending our helping hand to more number of students.

You could either do such things on your own or through your parents/siblings.
